Hands - Different shapes and sizes...

Do you think that individual hand shape and size (big thumbs, long fingers LOL) can effect the way a person learns technique? Is it a persons individual speed at learning and dedication... or could it be that some people learn it way easier because of the shape or size of there hands?
My question is to you is do you think it atleast effects it?
oh and.......LOL

I know of people with either spectrum that are awesome percussionists (small hands, bigger hands, etc.), and I feel that there is
no correlation
between hand size and the way a person learns technique.
