Negative... & it also depends on which snare size & depth.

Overall I think the Panther is more versatile??? Wait for the others to join in.

Panter is more versitile!... I have the 13x6.5 Musashi, great sounding drum but the Maple is more flexible in any playing situation than the 'Sashi! :) 8)

Yeah I forgot about that! But if you talking about the Maple snare I would say the Panter! Just ask Panther Boy, He might know!...lol....

Black Panther all the way.....They are also better built.

I've owned the Musashi 13X6.5, now I have a Black Panther Birdseye Maple 14X6.5 and I think it is the better of the two.....Black Chrome Hardware, it holds the tune better, its Maple, diecast hoops.......

PLAYED BOTH A LOT... HAVE A12X7 PANTHER- see pic- i think the panther is more versatile BUT- i don't like either more than the other
