The Lord Hath Need of What Is Bound
« on: August 27, 2004, 12:56:04 PM »
I just wanted to share this with you saints. God showed me something in the Scritpures that I never saw before. It's in Matthew 21:1-5

So, why are there some things that you have prayed over, fasted over, and got into every prayer line over . . . and still there seems to be a waiting on your deliverence?

It's because Jesus doesn't want anyone "riding" on that thing but HIM.

Listen, saints. Some things in your life will not come to pass until the Lord sends for it. The Scripture opens with Jesus giving orders to send for something that man had bound up. Why did you have to suffer people mocking your singing, your playing your preaching? As a result, didn't the bound thing just give glory to Jesus alone . . . you and Him, enjoying what He gave you? Well, listen . . . one day, The King is going to call for what has been bound up. Why? Because He has need of it. No one will be able to say, "Oh, I trained So and So to sing," "Oh, you have to play for me, because you know I gave you a chance when others didn't." None of that!

Now it gets good. When the King calls for the thing that is bound, you won't have to explain yourself to anybody. Listen, Jesus said to His disciplines not to go into any long explanations . . . the only thing they needed to say was "The Lord has need of it."

Excuse me while I shout a bit . . . I'll be right back.

Okay, I'm back.

Oh, don't you get tired of always explaning everything when you know God wants a certain thing? The altos want this, the director wants this, and . . . oh, but when Jesus calls for something, all you have to say is . . ."THE LORD HATH NEED OF IT." And the Bible says that they will let it go.

So if it seems like some things are bound up, but you know God wants to use it, just hold on, giving Him praise. It's bound up so that only Jesus will use this gift . . . its a gift no man has "sat on."

And when Jesus calls for it, all you will have to say is "The Lord hath need of me." Stop explaining yourself, stop thinking you owe everyone an explanation for your anointing . . . just say "The Lord has need of it."

Now Be Blessed . . . .
