Something i noticed though is that when people practice they will practice grooves and they will do the whole speed it up to as fast as they can get etc.. but the trick is to sustain that tempo for awhile and thats with every groove. even if every thing you play is at 100 BPM you should still be workin out at 210 + BPM.

something i noticed that helped me fill wise and shedding is that i will have times where i just shed over stuff after i practice and what that works the muscles even harder because of the intensity of it. and i fyou practice for an hour and shed for an hour about every day i guarantee you that you wont be cramping at church. i know because i used to cramp at church alot before i came to Berklee and having to play all the time everyday has helped me to develop more endurance.

Man my dad is 6'3 and weighs 310. I guess I got it from him..lol.. Really I don't eat very healthy AT ALL! I have a high metabolism so I can eat without really gaining any weight. I don't know how I got so tall because my mom is only like 5'3  :P..

the funny thing is that my pops is 5'7 and my mom is 5'5 but my uncles on my dads side is over 6'2 and my dads twin is 6'4....

man what 'r' yall eatin' mannnnn?????  yall are eatin' too many snickers, chicken and milk.  whatever it is, tell ME, lol.

Im gonna try to keep that weight thing to a minimum! I learned about the whole metabolism thing last semester. All the guys on my dads side are over 6'0 even my grandfather who was 6'5. Im glad my mom doesn't carry the baldness gene. By 25 I would have looked like Abdul Jabaar..lol.. That is possible!! ;) :D

That's true!!!! Id have to say just put in some good long hours practising. What I like to do is burn mixed Cd's and act like Im really playing in a concert. I see all the people, lights everything...This also helps me to be able to pull out new licks live and not have brain freeze live when Im ready to pull them out for real.
