Im having the same problem rms2003 is having, i cant get my leslie to switch from fast to stop. i have a 222 leslie, with a A100 hammond organ, i pulled the white plug out of the top slow motor on the amp, and now the leslie spins slow, no matter if it is on tremolo or  Chorale, is there anything different i should be doing on 222 leslie then the 122 leslie instructions that you gave.

On your leslie just try moving the brown plugs over to where the slow motors were plugged in and try it. Some leslie you have to move the brown plugs over and some you can just unplug the white plugs. Try that it should work. Unplug the white plugs and then plug the brown in the spot where the white ones were.

On your leslie you should have 3 back boards. On for the bottom, middle, and top. Some leslies may not have the bottom or top boards on it. On the top one it should have 2 screws. All you wil need it a flat screw driver. Just take the back top board off. Then put the belt up on the top portion of the pulley. This will make the leslie spin at a better speed. The sound is much better

HELPFUL INFO TO MAKE YOUR ORGAN AND LESLIE SCREAM BETTER

HELPFUL INFO TO MAKE YOUR ORGAN AND LESLIE SCREAM BETTER

If you want to make your organ scream and use its potential this what you can do. It only works for organ models: A100, C-2, C-3, B-2, B-3, Rt-2,RT-3, D-100. If you have one of these organs you can take the back of the organ off. You will then see your amp. It has a transformer and tubes on it. You can do this either with the organ on or off. You will see small knob that is silver on the amp that says TONE. It will kinda of toward the middle of the frontside of the amp facing you. It will also look similiar to a screw. You can either use your hand or a flat screw to turn it all the way to the Right. This will boost the organs pitch up big time. On my organs that I have here, I turn them all the way up. There is also on the C-3, B-3, A-100, RT-3 models another adjustable tone for the Percussions over towards the right. You can turn it up as well for the percussion volume.

As far as the lower speaker goes, the speed of the lower drum with not change. the pulley is a one postion. it won't go any slow or any faster.

leslie problems

I tried to unplug the brown plugs from the fast motor, but the plug is so old when i tried to unplug it it wont come out, and also the plug has a slit in the middle. so if you pull it out it will break apart. the white plugs in the slow motor are already pulled out, but it is just hanging and the plug is already broken into two parts, when i tried to plug the white plug back in. the plug will not go into socket correctly.

If you are good with splicing wires. All you need to do is get you some wire cutters and put some new ends on the pluggs. Its real easy. You can get some end pluggs from radio shak or places like Lows. I had the same problem happen on my 142 Leslie. Just replace them and you will be in business.

2 question about the Leslie

Wil, a while back I asked if it were possible to control have ramp up and ramp down speeds of the bass rotor, the reason I was wondering that was because I was listening to an old tape from our church and every time the organ player would switch the leslie to slow, it sounded like the horn completely stops but it also sounds like the bass rotor slowly ramps down to a complete stop. And then when the leslie was switched to fast, the bass rotor would ramp up but again, very slowly. I made a recording of this if you wanna here it;
