Harmonizing of the the major scale
« on: August 12, 2003, 02:11:48 AM »
Hi Brother & Sisters
The board seems to be quite.Someone mention on hearandplay how boring it is to play your scales up and down 2octaves[my name]   when practising and Mike mentioned to spice it up by harmonizing the scale. Can someone help me in doing this.

Cheers 4 now
Mike

you can play the song in octaves or you can play the diatonic chords like this.

Here is an example in the key of C:

CEG
DFA
EGB
FAC
GBD
ACE
BDE

or their invertions like this:

EGC
FAD
GBE
ACF
BDG
CEA
DEB
