Chevonne is burning on the New England Patriots

When will teams learn that "close but no cigar" is not good enough to beat the New England Patriots. Is it me or are teams continuing to get a false sense of security when they have a lead going into the 4th quarter? Last nights game is exhibit A of why you have to play 60 minutes of football in order to win the dawg gone game. Ok I'm finished now......LOL :D :D :D :D :D :D :D

What do you guys think about the calls that the refs made last night? The Ravens said that the refs were verbally abusive.... ::)

That's why I find all of these crazy celebrations when teams score so uncalled for.  You can do a great end zone dance and still lose if your defense aint worth a blip.  It doesn't matter until you actually win the game.

Well, Jim Rome,  ::) the thing about penalties being called is timing. The same pass interference call in the second quarter always looks suspect to the losing team during the final moments of a close game.


But, the fact of the matter is: pass interference IS pass interference; especially the call at the end of last night's game.

I absolutely agree with you. I think that the Ravens are sore losers. Close but no cigar is not good enough....bottom line. I think that out of all the mistakes, the Raven's coach made the biggest one by calling that defensive time out....

i hate the pats its like i knew somehow they would win but i wanted them to loose i bet if they loose they wont be the same just like the colts ;D

the only team i see maybe beating them now is the steelers or maybe the giants or maybe the dolphins will do like they did a few years back and pull a upset on the pats

I think the coach (RAVENS) needs to be fired. :) Why would you call timeout and your defense is man handling the best offense in the NFL???? ?/? ?/? ?/?

I thought that was one of the coordinators who called timeout. Whoever it was, that sideline was maaaaaaaaaad.

It was the defensive coach..He was yelling time out in the refs ear.... It was a stupid move..

My guess is the Steelers will prolly be the ones who lose by 20 or 30 points or more...who knows  :-\
The key to beating the Pats is getting to Brady and scoring points without mistakes. Until someone does that....FORGET ABOUT IT!!! ;D

that is so true. but trust me, if the Pats go through the regular season unbeaten. I think they will not win the superbowl.


and another thing. the refs, made some terrible calls all game. especially the so called game-winning touchdown. THAT WAS NOT A CATCH!!!!!!

Ya know what I am sitting here watching the replay of that catch on ESPN's First Take and I don't think that it was a catch. But you know what though, the Ravens made a lot of mistakes before that call. If they had've taken care of business and not called that stupid time out then maybe it wouldn't have came down to that one play.....who knows. Either way, an L is an L and a W is a W... :-\ You feel sick to the stomach about the way they lost, I would rather be blown out than to lose the way they lost.
