The selling point for "Ubuntu" is that it's an South African word, meaning "brotherhood"...if I remember correctly. Since they're Africans, they liked that.
It's actually not that hard to use. You'd have to be a total idio...I mean computer illiterate, to not understand it.
Installing applications is even pretty easy, unless you have to compile something.
I used the default interface, with the menus at the top. It didn't take them long to get it.
And I was about to load Redhat on a computer again.
Redhat? On a desktop computer?
I don't think Redhat is as user-friendly. I think it's more for enterprise users.
