Half of the clothes I bought for my ex came from Banana Republic and I love Armani everything... (not too much a fan of Old Navy, though).  I guess it depends on the black person's sense of style.

So what should we wear? Rocawear? Sean John? G-unit? FUBU? Karl Kani?  When you reach a certain point in your life you have to dress a little more mature and less like a wannabe gangsta, If you want people  to treat you seriously then you have to present yourself in a mature manner.

Sure I still wear Sean John, Enyce etc but thats not my main style anymore

Syllogism, and sarcasm in general, is just his way.  BUT, I gotta say to his defense, I don't think he was suggesting Sean John or Rocawear is the way... there was another point in there somewhere.  I'm not sure what it is, hence my own question, but I don't think it was a suggestion for urban/hip-hop attire.

Jealousy is a waste of time. There is always going to be someone that looks better than you, has more money, smarter, etc. So, don't even worry about that. Most women go by what they hear anyway. However, if he's a combo of all those brothers....I don't know. LOL

I absolutely agree.  In your opinion, someone may be prettier/better looking/sexier/smarter than you.....but that doesn't necessarily mean their happier.  The best looking guy in the world or the sexiest, hottest woman in the world might be fighting some kind of inner battle that we don't even want to know about.... And another thing - they can have all the looks in the world, but if they don't have GOD they need more than just good looks.  Good looks isn't what gets you into the Kingdom....Besides, we'll all be perfectly beautiful in every way when we get there anyway!!!!
