Just got Calvin's DVD in the mail today. And man it is nice.If you're
looking for a drummer who has a nice tight, clean and crisp pocket.
You've got to check it out..I give him props for stepping out and doing
a DVD such as this..I'm just an old school 80's guy trying to fit in
with the new school guys..

I'll give it an 8.He does about 6 songs and at the end of a couple of them.He slows down the more technical parts,so you can see exactly
what he's doing..It's real informative coming from a gospel music
stand point..His pocket is sooo tight..None of the songs are over played..

IT IS TIGHT TO SEE A DRUMMER THAT CAN GO OFF WHEN HE NEEDS TO BUT STILL KNOWS JUST WHEN TO KEEP THE POCKET. HOW LONG DID IT TAKE FOR YOU TO RECIEVE THE DVD?

I ordered the DVD too. It took me about a week to get it after ordering it online. Yeah, his pocket is real tight and his fills and spills are all in the right places. I probably would rate it a 10, my only complaint was that i thought it was a little short compared to that John Blackwell DVD.

CalKel

I FIGURED IT WOULD BE. HE DOESN'T HAVE THE ALL OF THE BIG SPONSORS BACKING HIMUP. REMEMBER THAT JAHN BLACKWELL IS REALLY WELL KNOWN AND CALVIN NAPPER IS BEST KNOWN IN THE CHRISTIAN MUSIC INDUSTRY. HE IS SUPER CONSISTENT THOUGH...

I had problems getting on the store page of his website..so I ordered
it through Ntimemusic.com..In Charlotte,NC..It took 2 days to get here.
I only live an hour and a half from Charlotte..

Yeah he has a mean pocket..And one thing I loved is he didn't go
over the top in playing those fills..I'm an old school 80's guy and
man he was on..

It's a great dvd. He's one of the most humble drummers in the gospel arena
The organ doesn't have a transpose button, learn it in every key!!!!!
