I think Herm brings up some valid points. The bible is a guide to sparking understanding however it is the ministry of the holy spirit that guides us into the truth. BBoy's assessment is 1000% percent on point because if our society's pecking order of making people feel as though that they will never arrive to that place of peace. I believe this is what Paul is trying to say. Regardless if he made 1 million a year or 23000 it didn't matter. He had learned to be content in the situation whetherl it improved or not.
Quite Frankly many people learn from asking questions. I don't think it is wrong to ask questions during someone's sermon... In the Gospels the people who ask Jesus questions. What about teach us to pray or increase our faith request that came during Jesus' sermons. Any preacher who gets irritated with a person asking them questions is a preacher I wouldn't want to hear preach. Sister T is dead on about the meaning of words. Linguistics can play a part in the understanding of a reader. Satifaction and contentment is totally different. People who struggle with addictions are satified but not content...
