Let me throw out some awesome preachers/pastors in or from the NYC area who aint no joke on the organ either!  Dont sleep, it must really be hard to play for them cause they really do know how to play, so they only have the best playing for them!

Apostle Michael Rogers - Anybody old enough to remember the Bibleway records of the late 70's and early 80's?
Bishop Eric McDaniel - used to play for his late father on the radio in NYC, I used to listen every Sunday night
Bishop Jeffery White - the MOST versitle muscian in NY gospel history, bass, piano, organ and drums!  He is a beast!
Elder Timothy Wright - Nuff said!
Bishop Ronald Carter - Old school but can rock!
Bishop Sam Bacon - Dont sleep my man can rock!
Pastor Donnie McKlurkin - man is no joke either!
Pastor Frank Antione White - used to play for the late great Benny Cummings, need I say more?

My favorite organists are:
Elbernita "Twinkie" Clark (Queen of the Hammond Organ)
Moses Tyson, Jr. (King of the Hammond Organ)

Both of these people are awesome organists, and they both inspire me a lot.
