Who loves traditonal gospel music ?

I would like to here from my friends who love traditonal gospel music.
I do not get into contemporary .
Is there any one who plays country gospel,Bluegrass gospel,or southern gospel? :lol:

revdarrin, Welcome to the LGM website.

I love tradition gospel, I guess because that is what I grew up on.  In regards to contemporary, I do not dislike it, but I can't understand what they are saying alot of the times.

I Like Traditional and some Contemparary as well, but Focus more or Traditional. Welcome!

:D My church is based on traditional gospel music, so I guess you can say that I am a traditional gospel musicaholic but I do like contemporary as well since my youth choir is into that type of music.

The church I grew up in was southern gospel.  My dad is a bluegrass nut, and I have grown to really respect those musicians (some of that stuff is really hard!).  I can't get myself out of my blues-based lead playing ruts--I'm always wanting to bend strings like crazy--but I enjoy listening to some "pickin" occasionally.
