The money he pays is not even worth all the stress. That dude is near impossible to work with. Not sure if it'll be on TV, but I sure do hope it is......Hmmmmm maybe someone in particular who visits LGM on occassions could give us a little insight firsthand on what its like to work with Puff. Maybe someone who has the initials G."S".M. ?????

I was going to pursue this, but that is the very reason I withdrew the idea from my mind.  I looked at it as a huge opportunity, but then I realized that this is not about opportunity or a big-time gig, but about some finding some hungry musicians and some fresh meat for Mr. Combs to berate and humiliate for the sake of great ratings.  He's going to have to find something wrong no matter how much talent someone has.  I'm not walking from the North side of Chicago to the South Side to get this dude some cheesecake just to have him not even be there when I get back.

I looked at all the possibilities, but I aint setting myself up for a bunch of mess, because I would bounce without thinking twice from this type of MTB mess if he came at me wrong.  Also think about the thousands of people that are going to show up in there four cities.  You may put yourself on lock by signing release forms and not even know it and be owned by Diddy and not be able to do a thing about it no matter how he may screw you in the end.  I'm striving hard for an opportunity in this business, but I know that this particular things isn't what God has for me.  If any of you go for this, please thoroughly read anything placed before you to sign and by all means protect your neck.

Ja Jig Ja Ju Ja Jig Ja Ju G U N O T....

Lets let MR. COMBS, first start by finding his own talent in himself.  Can Diddy do either of the three, sing, play and instrument, or dance????? NOPE!.  Another capitalism on someone else's gift for his own profit.  Why you gotta come out with a show to himuliate young kids.  I have seen MTB4 and it was a total retarded idea.  Teaching kids once again you can be the most dumbest guy on the planet but still make the band....lol....total idiots including Diddy, daddy, p-mac, t-fizzle, r-skizzle.  Man what dufus....

Acutally Diddy started his career as a dancer.  He was known for his dances for quite some time.  I would say he's known more for his dance than his rapping.

I have a video of him dancing with singer Stacy Lattisaw back in the day.  That's how I knew who he was when he first became known.  He was far from the uber-confident individual we see today.

Well whadduya know, I just happened to find it.  It's a horrible copy, but it will serve it's purpose.

hey yall!

i've been a member for about 2 years now, and i don't think i've ever posted, not even a single comment.

i'm a 28 yr old newyorican church(self-taught)drummer with an impetus hunger of becoming a professional musician. I would do whatever it took to make the art of music my bread winner. I've been thinking seriously on sacrificing and buying a plain ticket, take a couple of days off from work and go to nyc to try out for this auditions. This looks like a great opportunity for exposure and networking. we may probably not even make the cut, due to the excessive amount of folks auditioning, but it could open up doors else where in other venues.

What's diddy's method behind all this anyways.  Sacrifice people's careers for a shot at playing for a few concerts and then forgot about.  What's this teaching young cats?

But honestly, can you blame him?? He wants it to sound right....he is a perfectionist.  It is no different than when the choir director chews the musician out for not leadin the choir into the next part of the song....in ANY genre of music....if you do your part things things will fall in line...

This was my outlook on the whole thing a well, but I have to go on what MTV gives me to look at.

Good luck.  You may be that cat.

Plus, somebody has to go and get him some cheesecake.

For those who are interested, go check it out.  See for yourself what its all about.  Be your own man or woman and disreguard all negativity.  Show up on time with your business straight.  Its easy to find good talent, but you can seperate yourselves from others by going in with a good sound mind.  Be 100% positive in every situation and watch things happen for you.  I'm tellin you fam.  If I had listened to people sayin "don't do this" and "don't do that," and "if I were you.."  I wouldn't have my foot in the door with Yamaha drums right now.  Outside of the fact that we all know how extremely difficult it is to get with Yamaha, I'm very proud to have a deal with them because its what I trully love to play.  I didn't lisen to cats trying to get me to jump on bandwagons just for the sake of being endorsed.  I kept my eye on the prize and blocked out all negativity.

Its very easy to type up a bunch of excuses as to why you have to continue sitting at home on your couch.  News flash people.  You don't need an excuse.  You can just sit there quietly lol.

My father used to tell me that if I chose to sit in class and not get an education, that's my problem.  But if I disrupt other class mates and make it hard for someone else to learn, then we have a major problem.

If someone is strategically trying to sway you not to do a gig, ask yourself if that person has something better for you.  If not, then you know what to do fam!

Good luck to any and everyone with any and everything you go for.
