For those who are interested, go check it out.  See for yourself what its all about.  Be your own man or woman and disreguard all negativity.  Show up on time with your business straight.  Its easy to find good talent, but you can seperate yourselves from others by going in with a good sound mind.  Be 100% positive in every situation and watch things happen for you.  I'm tellin you fam.  If I had listened to people sayin "don't do this" and "don't do that," and "if I were you.."  I wouldn't have my foot in the door with Yamaha drums right now.  Outside of the fact that we all know how extremely difficult it is to get with Yamaha, I'm very proud to have a deal with them because its what I trully love to play.  I didn't lisen to cats trying to get me to jump on bandwagons just for the sake of being endorsed.  I kept my eye on the prize and blocked out all negativity.

Its very easy to type up a bunch of excuses as to why you have to continue sitting at home on your couch.  News flash people.  You don't need an excuse.  You can just sit there quietly lol.

My father used to tell me that if I chose to sit in class and not get an education, that's my problem.  But if I disrupt other class mates and make it hard for someone else to learn, then we have a major problem.

If someone is strategically trying to sway you not to do a gig, ask yourself if that person has something better for you.  If not, then you know what to do fam!

Good luck to any and everyone with any and everything you go for.

Sheen, I appreciate you for being positive all around dude and giving us straight honest good notes to think about and consider for the pursuit of our craft.  You inspire me dude to keep on pushing for what I want.  I may be 32 right now and have let alot of years pass by for the simple fact of letting people get in my ear and tell me that this music thing is not promising.  They are not even around now and what do I have to show for listening to them.  But thanks man, I know that my shot has not passed me by and it's still there for me to capture and it's people like you that make my belief even stronger.   GOD bless you life doc.
