It's not as hard as you think. There is a very simple technique being used in this song. What he's doing is switching back and forth between the minor 1 chord and the 4 chord.
Since the song is in Bb, it would help to know what the minor 1 and 4 chord is for this key. Here they are:
Bb minor 1 chord: Bb-Db-F (Bb minor)
Bb 4 chord: Eb-G-Bb (Eb major)
Now that we got that, here's a little chord practice you can do to get your chords to sound like the video:

The idea here is to keep the Bb going in your LH on every beat while the RH does a syncopated rhythm. Start real slow, then pick up speed as you get more comfortable.
