AZ State COGIC had a midnight musical Sunday night into Monday morning, and this cat acted a fool with this MTD, some of the cleanest tones I have ever heard, he had no head, just went through the system we had. Don't get me wrong I love my Cirrus, but I understand the term MTD for life now.

Are you sure it was the bass?  Or was it the player?  I'm a MTD fan also but, I know the player makes a difference too.

I don't think it was custom, but the DRs he put on it did not hurt either, and yes this dude was for real, so it was a combination of his bass and the player.
