Praise the Lord!!!!! There is this cat who lives in my own home town. His name is J.J. Thamos. This man is the most anointed piano/keyboard/organ player I know. He is only like 20 somethin years old. not only is he past most of the people I've heard on the radio and cd's, he went to music school and is about to gradute. he is also now producing.

Gotta give it to Noel Hall (F.Hammond) - 1st off! - simply the man - i feel he sets the bar for up and coming Gospel music composers. This guy still amazes me. He's doin his own producing now.

2nd - Daniel Witherspoon (Fred's new keyboardist) - He's on almost everyone's CD. Marvin Sapp's 'Diary of a Psalmist'. Also he did the phat solo on Karen Clark's 'Finally Karen' CD on the track "Love Song". This guy's runs and chords are top-knotch right now.

3rd - Kevin Bond - 8O

4th - Ivan Powell (J.Kee) - i've studied this dude's style ... sik!

5th - Aaron Lindsey (I.Houghton) - his sounds and composing is takin over!

Yo dude that was Michael Bereal and Kevin Bond on Marvin's Sapp Diary of a Psalmist. I saw the dvd and it tells the musicians on the cd case.

sup lilben... i haven't seen the DVD, but i have the CD, and the credits show that he (Daniel) play'd Track 6 "Hallelujah". And just listening to Track 4 & 5, i'm willing to bet he was on those 2 as well. Not totally sure, but i do know all those kats are at the top of their games right now.

I take for granted that none of you guys has ever heard of Marcus Dawson (John Kee's first keyboardist, Joe Pace's Band director, Bishop Jakes' Minister of Music, President of Dexterity Sounds and the list goes on). That cat is in a league of his own. All of you failed to mention the one and only Ceric Thompson is another cat that is in his own league. If you haven't heard this cat then you don't know gospel music. Kevin Bond is alright for studio work but if you want a true musician for a live proformance then you better call on either Marcus or Cedric cause ain't no cat out there that can get with those guys. If you don't believe talk to Micah Stampley and see what he has to say about those 2 guys.

. The organ player cbass is hot 2, aint no one out their got their style haha. Ive heard some of their practices, they have like 3 different ways to play their songs
