Chris Daddy Dave
Gerald Heyward
Thomas Pridgen
Stokely
Joel Smith

but too many gifted and ANOINTED drummers out there to name everyone is a winner in my eyes because I can learn from anyone young or old. You're never too great to be HUMBLED by someone else.

Everyone who mentioned Aaron spears is absolutley correct!
probably the nicest, most controlled heavy hitting drummer I have ever heard.
for those who don't know, before he played with usher, he played with a gospel band called "The Gideon Band" in his home town of D.C.

try to get your hands on some of his gospel. The man's drum game is "UNMATCHED"

"God Bless"

2. Mr. Dennis Chambers
3. Freakin Thomas Pridgen OMGoodness
4. Zoro - OMG does this cat keep incredible timing. ALways in the pocket. Not the best chops in the world but his knowledge and timing are unparralelled.
5. Me, forealz! I can honestly say that I'm catching up to Thomas. Im just not black! I wish I had natural black people drumming skills. I have to work hard to learn gospel chops and I've gotten far. I love black people don't trip.
