"Cry Aloud" - Mali Music
« on: August 23, 2009, 07:46:54 PM »
I bought the song "Cry Aloud" by Mali Music (Found on the "Gumbo Red" project)

I love this song.  What do you think of this song, the lyrics, production, etc?

For those of you who go to churches where they play music before the service starts what do you think the reaction would be if this song started playing?  What if a dance ministry at your church did this song?

The Gumbo red project was a bit of a dissapointment to me. When I saw the artist list I was very excited about picking it up. The cd is not bad it just sounds more like an inspirational cd rather than a gospel project. Mali Music was actually a highlight of the cd though. He never ceases to put out a nice track without loosing the message.
On another note Lisa McClendon's new cd is pretty good.
Sounding Mathematics.
