As A bassist, I would first ask you if you know the melody to the song? Second, I would say that if you just played the root notes of the chords to that song on the bass , you woud be all good to go........But other wise from the information you've posted it may appear to look pretty hard to understand the question you are asking, from the view of other people on this site........
