As one who has said "I'm in!!!" and has not posted a video yet, I would still suggest keeping it going.

I will hopefully add my vids of "Enter In" and "My Name is Victory" really soon.

One suggestion might be to just list the songs in one of the "child directories" using the title and artist's name as the subject.  Then people can pop in and drop their vids or audio when they have time.  I know for me, personally, I just haven't gotten around to the 1st two because of time constraints. I'm reviving a contemporary gospel choir at church #1, so we're cramming a lot of material and Church #2 has been celebrating an anniversary all of October, so I've been crashing on a lot of their old original tunes that EVERYBODY in the music department knows 'cept me.  Now that I'm in the homestretch on both of those, I can peel off some time to work on these.

I think that the time needs to be regulated to one song per 2 weeks or per month.

I also don't have the time to do a video all the time, so a more regulated time would definately help out more.

Once per month sounds good or maybe a month and a half. Don't quit this is great.

Please continue.  I'm not at any of you guys' level yet but I have learned some things by watching a few of your videos.  Besides, I just completed a move to Jacksonville and haven't had much time lately.  Now that I mentioned that, let me go pick up the bass and practice/play for an hour or two.

It sound like the fam in the guitar room is about to get startsd on there own version of this thread as well, which is great.
It stared here in the bass room, then to the piano room, now to the guitar room.I'm really thinking about building a site that dedicated to what we started,I really believe there a need for this with some church musician, when I started playing bass in church, the more advance musician would make me feel bad or make me feel like I didn't belong, so I stop going to church and stop playing bass for 7 years, because of them, thank GOD for a praying wife who's ben by my side for 24years,now I'm back in the church back playing for the LORD and if I see any bass player having a hard time I will do my best to help them out.two sunday ago a young man came up to me and said he wanted to learn how to play the bass,he was saving his money to by a use bass,I have 6 basses, well now I have 5 I GAVE him a bass, told him I will give him lessons and told him about LGM.If I do build a site I will need help from some of the fam, those who still want to post there videos.

Thank you,
GOD BLESS

I'll do what I can to contribute if you set up such a site.  I'm glad to see that you have been such a blessing to the young bassist who received your instrument.  Although I seriously doubt I'd give away one of the instruments I currently have, I have purchased an SX for my kids' school and will probably purchase one for one of the churches I play at.  I will start giving lessons to a couple of the youth so that they'll be able to play the SX on the Sundays I'm not there.

I had a situation yesterday that showed me the power some of these videos can have.

Musicians get to the church an hour before service to talk through the order of service with the pastor, MOM, and the liturgist.  MOM decided to change away from the selections we'd rehearsed Thursday night to do two selections some of us used to do as a performing group. Then the pastor decided he wanted us to do "I Need You To Survive" instead of the song already planned as an invitational.  Then two more songs were substituted in for the congregational songs.

After the meeting and before service, I was able to use my phone to go to my YouTube page and re-fresh my memory on how I played the older songs that were added.  I'm notorious for forgetting arrangements I haven't played in a while.  While I was at it, I checked to make sure I was doing "I Need You To Survive" correctly.  Then I figured "what the heck" and I did a search for one of the added congregational songs and found someone's rendition of it and was able to adapt that.  It all worked out.

There just isn't enough time in a day.  I'd like to see it continue, and one of these days I hope to be able to contribute.
