so now a few of the older members remember the drama with the organist at my church. new year, new drama.

so we had our choir anniversary today. but to backtrack, leading up to the day, we had problems in rehearsal because the organist didnt learn to the material, if not barely even listened to it. He was called on it in one rehearsal, but still making excuses he refused to accept responsibility that he needs to step up. It was so bad that Wednesday (this Wed, so thats 4 days before the event) I had to work late, and came in to witness the choir singing acapella with him sitting at the organ because he didnt know the music and they were so relieved when i walked in the door. now we been given the songs since september and u tellin me 4 days before u still dont know the songs? when asked have u listened to the song (because he didnt know where the breaks and changes were) he replies "i listened to part of it".

so after the service is over he starts pressing my aunt (shes the choir president) for pay for the service. i mean the dude wouldnt leave. she said she told the financiers to prepare an envelope and was told that the word came from the pastor and head deacon that he wasnt getting anything because he's part of the choir and they gave him his pay he was supposed to get after the first service. So first of all im like "Dude, after not doing anything u were supposed to do in preparation, how dare u even fix ur face to ask for anything!!!" So he was pressing her so hard, she was going into her purse to give him the money knowing that they'd reimburse her. I told her "Dont come out of your pocket for that. Tell him he needs to talk to the pastor and the head deacon." But he kept pressing her, knowing full well that the pastor was downstairs and he could have talked to him at any time. But he kept pressing her. The pastor gave word that he'll take care of what needs to be taken care of. So me and my brother left it alone. So we find out that the organist came to my aunt and tells her that "she better find his money!!"

I mean seriously, you gonna press a woman over a money issue she not even in charge of? But thats pretty much a threat, and thats my aunt, and now its personal!

I mean, what kinda foolishness is that? I mean christian or not, you not gonna come at my family like that and expect me to just sit there and quote Bible scriptures. over what? like $50? over something that u clearly dont even deserve?

I got time to calm down now, but he's seriously lucky that he left already before we found all that out. now i dont have no ounce of respect for this dude, so how do i play in church? it was hard enough keepin my cool after previous issues. but this?!!
For my God... let "Golden Axe" prevail.

Wow.....I think you have the right to be angry but I think this falls on the leadership .  As long as they allow him to act like that, he will.

Is he on drugs? Seriously?

I think he should be given a chance to get his act together, if he cant then he doesent need to be playing. He wouldnt go to a secular job and beg one of his managers for money, so why would he do it in church?

Did I mention that I have a pretty bass :D,I'ts a warwick jazzmen,5 string I payed a lot of money for it, it's about 18 pounds and it sounds "GREAT"!!!

If dude would of threaten one of my family member in front of me he would got smaked on the right side of his face with a... "GREAT" sounding pretty warwick jazzmen 5 string 18 pound bass that I payed a lot of money for. >:(

Never threaten a mans family,God made man to be the:
provider, the protector and to preserver of his family.

And all money matters should be handel by the pastor or the head deacon.

That's my opinion, what's yours? ?/?

So then, what's the point of being a Christian if you won't quote scripture as Jesus did when He was tempted?  ?/? :-\

I'm not saying you quote scripture to dude (who was CLEARLY in the wrong), I'm saying to remind yourself that your witness is ALL you have. Period.

Step between dude and your aunt, tell him to speak with whoever was in charge of the funds for his pay....privately and allow that to be that. Lastly, remind him that he (allegedly) is a man of God himself and should conduct himself accordingly.

Just cause he tripped doesn't mean you have to, also. ;) 8)

what i meant was say if someone was trying to mug ur mom/wife/aunt/sister/etc you not gonna just stand to the side and say "Thou shall not steal". you gonna take action. most likely physical action. so i feel like if this was to escalate and i do have to step into the situation (i been tryin to stay out of it as much as i can), i need to be ready in case such action is necessary.

the problem is that he does all this when the people in charge are not around. the pastor was downstairs and the head deacon was in the pulpit talkin to one of the visitors. he could have easily went to either one of them first, and especially after he was told to talk to them. but he kept at her, i guess believing that she would give in and give him the money out her pocket and be reimbursed, which she was about to until i told her not to. so they have no firsthand account of this, just whats told to them, but in this case, i dont think thats an issue anymore because its being exposed.

and then on top of that, theres no shame that u do all this while there are still guests there. whats church issues should stay church issues. but thats his destruction, because if they do get rid of him sooner or later, he exposed his true nature to others on the outside that may not have known. not my problem though.

Oh no don't be threatning my auntie!!!

Wow that guy is a hot mess. There is not way I would have allowed him to say to my aunt "you better find my money"! I won't allow it to come to fist-a-cuffs. She's my auntie before a choir director.

Sounds like a lil' punk. He'll raise up on your aunt but not the head deacon or pastor.
If he did talk to them, I bet he wouldn't tell them "you better find my money".

Remember that tares are also growing up along the wheat, and not everyone that says "Lord, Lord" is in the Kingdom.... Let the fruits of your righteousness display to all what kind of tree you are.  Peace.

I have a scripture, and it goes like this:

"If thou threathest thy wife thou shell receive a royal beat down, in my name amen"

found in the book of Arthur, verse 59.

Bruh, you're talkin' two different scenes, mane. Dude was trippin' and fo' sho' crazy, but he wasn't gonna pistol-whip yo' auntie fo' his cash (no matter how it may have looked to you). 8)

All you would've needed to do is step to dude. Because he's SUCH a punk, he'd have backed down. Even if he didn't, as soon as you mention pastor's name, he'd back up...quick.  ;)
