A musician is a person who plays at a church. A M.O.M. is essintially a musicians boss. He is the leader of all musicians, choirs, etc. Makes sure all musicians know their music, choir knows there parts. A musicians/M.O.M. should have a good standing personal relationship with the pastor because they may often call on each other for various things. 9dont makes sense the two of you not on speakin terms and u really need each other). AMEN

The Minister of Music is the Decision maker for the Music department. The Songs for service, and sometimes the order of service are made thru him/her. Following the Flow of the Holy Spirit is key when you’re the M.O.M Likewise; this makes it very important that he/she have a close relationship with the Pastor. He/She has to be in tuned with the Pastor’s spirit. It’s kinda hard for a M.O.M to push Israel Feel when the Pastor is pushing for a Canton Spiritual feel. It’s up to the M.O.M and the Pastor to have a relationship that produces a great service. It’s hard to see the Holy Spirit being apart of a service where the Pastor and M.O.M is not on one accord. The musician then should be in tuned with the MOM. The musician is there using his gift as a Choir member or a Praise team member. His/Her responsibility and directions come from his/her M.O.M.  We all are Christians serving and Worshiping God until we’re called home. Therefore, we should all be at a place of worship where we can be spiritually fed. If a musician is not being fed the word of God, and cannot grow as a Christian, he/she should consult God thru prayer, His Pastor through counsel, and his M.O.M as a servant of God.
