What are natural talktone keys?
If I have a person talking and I determine that when they talk they are in the key of C.
Do you think when they sing the key of C will be the easiest for them?
Not necessarily.
I think it also depends on the original key of a song and whether the person makes that connection between the song and a key. For instance, when I sing "Make Me Over" by Tonex (not that I can sing!), I hear Tonex singing in a specific key and pitch and I try to imitate that, if i choke at that level then I take it down a key/ pitch until I can actually sing- which might not necessarily be my natural talk key.
I think most of the time it has alot to do with how you hear the song in your head before you sing. I say this because I've heard people talk in a particular key and then change completely when they sing. There are many also who maintain the talk tone key.
