If we didn't have jobs and families we would be doing alot more too.
i was gonna post that, but i didnt want nobody thinkin im bashin or downin the kid. but everybody circumstances is different. At that age i was helpin my grandmoms with babysittin so we could have a roof over our head and food in the house. You could forget bass. I wouldnt have been able to get a casio keyboard if i wanted one. The schools aint have no real music programs, so the church was the only way to go when it it came to music. But guess what, pick one...organ or drums! Thats solely why most cats comin out of Brooklyn either were nasty on the drums or organ (those were pretty much the only 2 choices).
Sometimes when i see kids like this, I wonder if they know how truly blessed they are. not blessed meaning skill level or talent. but blessed meaning HAVING OPPORTUNITIES as well as options. Because realistically, talent is pretty much useless with no opportunities.
