Excellent movie.  When Jayden did that final move everybody in the theater was like "Ooooooohhhh!!!!!!"

We went to see it on Saturday and both the 9:45pm and 10:15pm showings were sold out.  I was surprised.  After I saw the movie I wasn't surprised.

Yeah, my friend said he's about to do that classic Karate Kid move... I was like, I don't think so... That was pretty dope.

I really enjoyed the movie!  Lil Will did a good job and I thought Jackie Chan did well too.

Will there be a sequel? :)  I think so. The movie only cost $40 million to make and it mad $56 million on the first weekend.

^^^ Is it the extended LOTR version? I ordered all 3 extended versions off of amazon and I can't watch the regular ones anymore lol. I love LOTR!

Nope.  New Line is doing the same thing on Blu-ray that they did with the DVD version.  They release the theatrical version, then a few months later they release the extended, know people will double-dip.

I won't.

But I want to see it on Blu-ray, so I'll watch it via Netflix.  When they release the extended on Blu-ray I'll buy it.

First off, it doesn't even look like that classic move AND, IT'S. FIYAH!!!!!...and that's all I'm gonna say about that.  ;)

Second, even though Big Boss Man spoiled it, I STILL loved the move.

Last, the way they worked the end of the tournament was just great. I wish I could say more but I'll let everyone see it, first.

LL, you might wanna consider taking your kids to see it. It's GREAT!! I will own it.  8)

Bruh, throughout the movie all I saw was 'Little Will'; especially his vocal cadence. Outstanding remake! Outstanding.

Saw the movie this afternoon.....absolutely awesome!!!

He look just like his father!!! Definitely want to get that movie on DVD in the future!!!

I LOVED the Movie!! i went with my girls we had a blast, and  spent the whole night Doing Karate lol!!!!!!!

This movie is GRRRRREEEAAAATTTT!!! ;D ;D ;D

It's funny cuz I saw this movie, went to church, then got home and the original one was on T.V. I was doing a lot of compare and contrast, lol. Both versions are great! :D

I was actually reluctant to see it...having seen the original one, when it first came out. I get kind of tired of the whole "remake" thing. Got a great cast of characters...get a new screenplay. How hard can it be? Do a new thing, why don'tcha? I get kind of disappointed at some of the remakes. I  haven't seen the Karate Kid, though. So, I have no idea how good it is.

I saw the movie a couple of days ago.  Man, I was impressed!  Will's son has the potential to have a fantastic acting career, should he continue to pursue it.  The screenplay was good.  The acting was good.  Jackie Chan did the best acting job of his career, IMO.  This gets a definite thumbs up from me!
