NEED HELP BAD!!!!!!

what up ant been on here for a min but str8 to it I been offerd a job gig whatever u call it at a church to play keys full time a paster came up to me and said "i would love to have u at my church i have a bout 100 to 200 members but no musican i would love for u to come and play for us how much do u need to come off your job and work for us full time" and i said about 2000$ a month thats how much i make with my job and my church blessing so i told me let me pray on it

so i been praying im not getting any ware i love where im at now they r really good people to me and my family and i get 175 every sunday not bad with my job but ant that the gole is to do what u love to do and get paid for it i been working sence i was 14 went to college thinking if i get a good paying job ill b ok got the good job and i still feel like im not complet i got save thinking mayb this is y i feel this way it help me alot but that still not it but i figered it out its my music when i love the way i give GOD the glory and people r healed by my playing but me playing the keys dont pay the bills all the time now i been bless with this and im stuck i dont want to leave my church high and dry membership has tripple sence i been there i hate to leave them like that i tried to see if i can get a replacement everybody i know playing someware what do  i do

Wow! You must be good.....do they want just a musician or a MOM, directing the band, choirs, Music Ministry there?

Prayer is good. I would also say - INVESTIGATE the church that wants to hire you. Ask members, leaders, non-members, what they hear and think. What is its reputation in the community? Do they preach sound doctrine? Is there division, scandal, gossip and drama? Do they pay their staff and vendors promptly, or is everything 'late'? Try to attend a service or rehearsal 'undercover', so you have some idea what you are getting into before you leave your home church and commit.

A good church with no/low pay is much better than one with more money, but abundant mess/heartache...

From I was able to decipher, it seems as if you don't have any decision to make because no job has been offered to you...yet. According to your post, the pastor said he'd pray about it.

Well, if the job was offered, I don't see why you wouldn't take it. You're talking about an increase of $1500 dollars a month thereabouts, right?

In additional to what's been said, make sure that both party's goals & expectations are written in a contract. Also, if this will be your sole or main source of income, you may need to consider health benefits.

Word from the wise: PRAY FOR GUIDANCE and avoid making money the only constraint for arriving at an optimal decision. Usually, additional money in a job capacity results to more responsibilities. Im not saying anything is wrong with that, but you will have to do more and achieve more than what you are doing now.

Fast and pray about the situation.  If God gives you peace of mind to stay where you are then so be it.  If you still feel bad about leaving after you've prayed it may not be God's will for you to leave.  The question is "Lord, what is your will?"  You want to be a God=pleaser not a man-pleaser even if it's yourself.  If God has ordained you to be at the ministry you are in it is best you stay there until the Holy Spirit prompts you to leave.  If you truly believe in God and His Word give Him the respect that's due by standing on His Word til it manifest itself in your life.

This is an example for you even though it doesn't pertain to music.  I took an early retirement from my secular job making 40K + yearly dropping down to 18K yearly.  That was a big adjustment for me but guess what - God was faithful to His word that He'd supply all my needs according to His riches in glory and also I had that peace of mind that only God can give, the peace that surpasses all understanding.  (How can someone be happy with less than with more - only by the grace of God and fully trusting God)  If it worked for me it will work for you as well because is faithful to His word and He is not a respector of persons.  We just have to line up our lives spiritually and truly trust Him to work things out.   No matter what you're going through remember:  The good steps of a man are ordered by the Lord.  Be led by the Spirit.  Be blessed and I hope  what I've written will be an inspiration to you.  Let me know what you deside.  I'll be praying for you.

wow that was good  everyone really blessed me imma stand still for  now but imma talk with my paster to see ware i stand in the ministery so when those offers come i can trun them down with out thinking twice
