The Minor Scale
« on: November 19, 2004, 12:44:57 PM »
Hey you guys, I've just been introduced to the minor scale and I'm loving it. Alot of the gospel bass players where I'm from use it the minor scale alot and it sounds so good. Well I've just started using it and I was wondering if any of you guys had any tips on when I should use the minor scale. Because most of the time I start off playing in a major scale.

well, When I'm recording a blues or reggae song in a minor key I always stick with the minor scales on the bass...Although, you can always move around, but mostly it's about what you think sounds right to yourself........ also, they have a ton of free scales on this site. it's on the right hand side under LEARNING CENTER(free E-Books) it's very helpful!!!!!
