Lol I was hinting at the world "apostolic"....HAHA!

Dang Churchy, looks like I'm gonna have to school you:

Never jump in a women's conversation about cosmetics. Even if ur just joking, it will not turn out good for you. Case in point:

I know this is a ladies thread but she knew because she was in the spirit of apostolic succession of words......haha!  ;D :D

Just messin......lol!
Ummmm no! LOL. We have alot in common, that's how that happened lol.

That's not too bad, but it can get a lot worse buddy. ;)

I have not had my eyebrows threaded.  I usually get them waxed. After reading the posts, I think I will try it.  Now I usually have my upper lip waxed as well but if threading is more painful than waxing as far as the upper lip goes...........I don't know about that.

This is somewhat off the subject, but has anyone used Smooth Away?  I did and I'll tell ya, it's not something you can do then leave the house.  Lol!  You have to do it days before an event and hope that you don't have to leave the house if it's something that can't be covered by a garment.  Other than the issue of slight irritation is it really that bad for you?

I had it done once at the mall for $30.00....never went back. I went back to putting tooth paste to numb and twizzers to pick.

:D I used it ONCE. My legs looked like a baby's bottom... And so I wore a skirt... Thought I was flyyyy... then :o it started itching.... and within ten minutes I looked like I had been beaten or sum'n.

What freaks me out is that you NEVER EVER see where the hair goes after you use the Smooth Away. Oh, and I bought mine from Dollar Tree... Its called Silky Smooth. Maybe thats why I had such irritation ?/?

There is a middle eastern cat here in town that cuts black hair and he introduced us to threading.  He trims sideburns, moustaches, beards, and goatees all with thread when requested which is pretty much all of the time when cats see how precise it is.  He is a bad dude with that thread.
