I think doobie powell has the sickest time for the licks he pulls off. listen to twinkie clarks new album on the 2nd track and just listen to some of the stuff he does. or pick up his cd.

cledale king has the sickest timing i have ever heard i went 2 a drum clinic a few years back that dennis chambers and weckl was doing and he made these <edit>run out of tricks the boy can throw a mpc off beat and thats impossible and he has a sick pocket alot of people havent really heard of him but if he wanted to he could have the usher michael jackson or mint condition gig when ever he gets ready but he has been doing strictly gospel

i think most drummers in the industry have good timing cuz everyone pretty much has to kick with a mpc. but i like calvin rodgers timing, its awesome. i heard him solo once while he was hitin for new direction. he soloed on top of the mpc track, and it was hot! but i know there are a lot of other cats out here to. hey my timin anit to bad either. but all glory goes to God!

I gotta go with my man drewset on this one, Every "big time" gospel drummer has amazing timing, thats a given, I mean they wouldn't be playin with all the artists they are if they didn't,but jermey haynes is serious. He won't blow you away with blazin licks and fills at super sonic speed, but the way he accents the music is un-matched by anyone. I was able to work the stage at a gospel music fest this past summer and jeremy was holdin it down for greg haynes, who is sick on the guitar by the way, anyway, I was able to watch him up close and in person right behind his throne, trust me, dude locks in like none other.

Im not a drummer but I play keys and I just heard Tye Tribett this past weekend at Kim Burrell evening of stars and I think Spanky got the best timing!!!!!!!!!!
