Here are some MP3s of Sunday service, giving everyone an idea
of how we get our praise on. I've only recently, (last two months)
become the primary bass player for the praise team.
The worship director, (lead male vocalist and keyboard player) is
very picky about what he wants played, but I am looking forward
to contributing more ideas musically.

p.s. Sunday worship is held at a local high school and all instruments
are direct (keyboard, bass) or miked (drums). We use headphones
as monitors, which is a bit tough at times.

These sounds good!! I wish u can just unleash it on the first song...Jesus... Was u told to play straight?? cause man u can really blow that song up!!

Oh yeah, pretty much told to play it straight. I'm still a newbie bassist
and still trying to get the music director to warm up to me and
give me more breathing room.

I wish I could get together with more experienced bass players
to explore what you mean, "unleash" - I'm sure I could pick
up a few pointers.

I just wanted to thank you and all the others for posting stuff on my site. I don't think I've said that before.

On a side note: You wouldn't happen to be a member of the "hitechjunkies" group/band (I think I have the name right) would you? I remember hearing some stuff from the organist.

Thank you for letting us put our stuff on there for others to see....I had a virus yesterday and the day before (same virus) but if i didn't store the stuff on there...I think I would have lost it all...so again, thank you!

no, not any member of any band called "hitechjunkies" - that's just
a name i've been using online for years.

i think it's OK to use the song "Jesus, Jesus", as long as you give
the writer, Kevin Singleton, the credit.

That song (JESUS,JESUS) was a blessing to me, because when i here good Gospel i get Excited!!!!!!!! Very Excited!!!!!!!!
