We've never really discussed what everyone's playing.  I'll kick it off...

Peavey EVH Wolfgang, Fender Am. Std. Tele (Seymour duncan Lil' 59 in bridge), Series 10 LP copy for slide, Kimberly (1960's) no-name set-up for slide and Frankensteined with old pickups and parts, Dean Exotica QSE Acoustic, Rogue Acoustic Resonator set up for slide, Rouge 4-string bass.

Morley Bad Horsie Wah, Danelectro Chicken Salad Vibrato (sounds like a rotovibe, sort of), Digitech reverb, Dunlop/Heil Talk Box, Dano Tuna Melt Tremolo, Korg tuner (also working on custom-built effects--I have a boost/overdrive, and a fuzz--next up: UniVibe and TubeScreamer), Digitech RP100 I rarely use.

Peavey 5150 head, Laney 4x12 cab w/ Celestion G12M-75's, custom 2x12 w/ Peavey Sheffields, Rogue 1x12 50w bass amp.

Tortex picks (yellow and green), Moonshine slide, Dunlop Glass Slide, GHS strings (acoustic and electric), and Dean Markley strings on the LP copy for slide.

gitfiddle, check out some of the entry-level basses at musicians friend (www.musiciansfriend.com).

My Rouge was only about $150, and it's decent.  If you want something a bit more long-term, Ibanez has some awesome basses for under $300.  they have financing, too (but be careful--it bit me when I was 18...).

Good point, too--we are all blessed to possess both our talent, and our instruments.  Praise the Lord.

well, my setup goes ~guitars (schecter c-1 classic w/ dual seymour duncan humbuckers, 59' at the neck & a super distortion at the bridge, & a strat copy that I made w/ 3 single coils)~which 1st run into an Electro Harmonix Big Muff fuzz pedal, 2nd a Visual Sound Route 66 overdrive/compressor, 3rd a Dunlop Crybaby Classic wah (I used to run into the wah 1st but putting it after the overdrive gives my wah a more vocal sound), 4th a Boss C-1 chorus, 5th a Boss PH-3 phaser, 6th a Boss DD-3 digital delay, & last into a Boss TU-2 tuner~ from my pedalboard I run straight into my amp a Fender Hot Rod Deville 212 w/ another 2x12 extension cabinet. I do mike the main amp about 4 to 6 inches off one of the speakers in the amplifier just so we catch everthing in the mix for the tapes & cd's.....

I've got a Fender mim Stratocaster, a Yamaha Pacifia 312 ,a Epiphone Pr-350CE acoustic-electric and a Washburn Bantamn bass. They guitars,except the Epiphone runs thru a Peavey Transtube EFX 212 amp at 100W,the Epiphone now runs thru a PA I recently purchased and the Washburn bass goes thru a Peavey bass amp at 75W.
