I just think the Heat are paying for the fact that they celebrated winning a championship before they ever even practiced together. Why couldn't they just come together like the Celtics did? They did interviews and stuff but there was no "THE DECISION DEBAUCHERY"...there wasn't a parade or anything. Don't get me wrong, I understand that the Celtics were the story when they first came together but they backed it up by winning. Dewayne Wade has always been known for the fact that he can close games out with the best of em but now all of a sudden we live and die by Lebron!?!?!?!?!?!? It just makes no sense to me. On top of that, their foolish behind coarch (coach) get's up in front of the media and say that some of the players were crying in the locker room....

I mean why would you celebrate it as if you were automatically the winners of the NBA title???.....LOL! Maybe Stan Van Gundy was right in that Miami they have underestimated the process and proclaimed themselves automatic winners....SMH!

yeah, well just as fast they appear to be tanking, i am not for one moment thinking that they can't turn it on, if and when they want to. Before the season started, i predicted to my wife that regardless of how their season goes they will end up in the finals and winning the title. And as far fetched as it is looking now, i'm still standing by that. Once the smell of the playoffs and those 7-game series starts, i think they lock down and start shutting teams down! Yeah, call me crazy now, but wait and see...

Don't get me wrong...I'm right there with ya on this. I think they and the Lakers will turn it on and blow people away. I'm just kinda sick and tired of the mumbling and grumbling coming from those guys. Dewayne Wade said in his press conference Sunday.."You know the world is a much better place today because we're losing"...WHUT!!!

I just want them to shut up and play. I don't want to hear them complain about the pressure that they put on themselves by having that pre-championship party.

And the Heat lose again......this time to Portland. Wow! Is it time for a major change with the Heat? Idk.

I still think (for now) Heat can still make it to NBA Finals and maybe win it all, but the more they lose the more doubt I have. If these teams continue to exploit Heat I think the playoffs team in the East (and West) will have a good blueprint in beating Heat. I already think Celtics are not as clear the favorites as they were before the trade. If Miami don't get it together I am convinced the NBA Champion will be Lakers or Spurs (maybe even Mavericks).

But this game the Heat play against the Lakers Thursday could be a trap game. Both teams need to win but Lakers MUST make a statement as a potential NBA Finals team.

And I just reached the conclusion that I need to work for ESPN.....LOL!

It's almost a forgone conclusion that the Lakers will be in the finals again. The Heat are never out of it because the Celtics are old and senile...The Bulls can win but will they get consistent production for the two spot....The Knicks don't play any defense....and so on and so forth.

How about those Sixers? For the first time in years, I can talk about my team without people giggling and pointing. Granted, they're not league leaders, but they're playing ball as good as anyone right now. Andre Iguadala is coming off of consecutive triple-doubles, and they're just playing great team ball. I expect them to be a tough first-round opponent for somebody come playoff time.

Yes! They may be an interesting playoff team. Don't think they'll make it past 1st round but could give a top team a scare!

Maybe, maybe not. Most likely they will get #7 or #8 seed so they would face possibly Boston, Chicago or Miami. As we learned in the NFL with the Seahawks beat the Saints, anything is possible. I think they have a better chance to upset Boston or Chicago. Miami? Maybe.

They will not get swept. They're playing with a lot of confidence right now, and frankly, they're just playing good ball, period. I'm not claiming that they'll win a series. But, they will be nobody's pushover.
