Absolutely! But wouldn't that also put Lebron further away from a possible title within the next 2-4 years? I believe he'll get one eventually, just thinking about the next 2-4 years. This is suppose to be a dynasty.
If I'm the Heat, this would be about us building our dynasty. I just feel that Dwight Howard would instantly change the Heat for YEARS and YEARS...and YEARS to come!!! Sure, Lebron will eventually bring championships to the Heat but I just feel that Dwight would remove the argument over who's team it is. To me, the Heat goes as D-wade goes but there's been some doubt about that. Dwight would remove that....fa'sho!

Seriously though, this team was together for ONE SEASON and they came within a Game 2 collapse of winning it all.  I don't think you trade the best/2nd best player on the team just yet.

...unless he has another NBA Finals like the one he had this year in which case you send him packin and change the locks.   :-\

Exactly because like you said, Miami should have won the title and props to Dallas, but I don't care what anyone tells me...Miami gave away the title! #thatisall

They didn't give it away.  Dallas earned it.  Dallas executed their gameplan the last 3 games, and Miami veered away from theirs.  Or, at least they stopped executing defensively like they did in the first 2 games.

Heard last night/this morning about Lakers were talking about a deal that would send Odom and Walton to Philadelphia for Igoldula (spelled wrong). I don't like the trade at all.

Also, there was some talk about Lakers trading Gasol to Minnesota for #2 draft pick. I don't like that trade at all.

If it was up to me, I'd send Blake and Gasol to New Orleans for Chris Paul. I'd also send Ron Artest to Charlotte for Stephen Jackson.

I love that trade for the Lakers.

Iguodala is very athletic, an elite defender, has a decent offensive game (that's still getting better) and he's in his late 20's.  Why not?

That would be a VERY good move for the Lakers.  Think Jordan/Pippen-like combo.

I like Odom. I'm not understanding why he is even in the trade discussions. He had his best season this past year. I know Lakers need to get athletic but I'd rather see Gasol or Bynum traded. It's so ironic that the Lakers at one point (not too long ago) were the model seen to win a title (again, that's why OKC went big) but now Miami becomes the model (athletic). Wow! How things change....LOL!

If any teams pattern their style after Miami...it's because they have 3 stars, not because they're athletic.

For obvious reasons, I don't want the Lakers to make that deal. Keep the same team together and let's hope they choke again.....~insert evil grin smiley here~

I say both.

Well it still looks like Kyrie will be the #1 pick. My opinion is that while I honestly don't care that much about it (unless it involves Lakers or some big deal of a trade or something) Williams should be the #1 pick. I don't understand why you would put someone as #1 who has not played a bunch of games. #justmythoughts

So, should the Lakers trade "Metta World Peace"?
