was up everybody? when practicing rudiments and tryin to get your left hand faster is it good to use bigger sticks than what you normally use?

my advice to you is to practice unison exercise meaning both hand are doing the same lick. Pracrice with a metornome or click track.  Get a pillow or moon gel pad or something that doesn't allow rebound or bounce from the stick. Practice singles and double strokes.

Take the click and go as fast as you can, to the point where you start messing up. Back off about 5 click example if you max at 120 bpm go down to 115. This will be your starting point, it might take weeks to get this speed down I don't know. It depends on your level of growth. Move the click up one click at a time don't rush growth. Take your time and relax don't tense up. One things drummers don't do is practice breathing, muscles need a good oxygen supply. When we learn a new lick we tend to rush it, as soon as will do it right for the first, it on then! Take your time! Let me know if this help.
