I will never understand why people buy shooters on a console. As far as I'm concerned, consoles were meant for platformers and sports games only.

I don't understand playing games on a PC. At the same time, I don't understand watching movies on a PC, either. *kanyeshrug*

I used to only play sports game on PC. But thatt was before I gotta PS3. Now I can't see myself even try to play any type of game on a PC if its avaible on a console.

Joy2Key + USB Controller makes PC gaming so much more enjoyable. Playing a good flash game with a usb game controller is just awesome.

Sorry, screen size beats all.   There are very few instances where 20" is better than 40".

Now, if one's computer monitor and television are the same size, then maybe, even then I wouldn't never give up console playing for PC playing.

Sorry, I wasn't saying those things make PC gaming much more enjoyable than console gaming. They just make it much more enjoyable period.

Anyway, don't they make TV's with VGA ports now? Now PC gamers have the option of using a small portable screen, or a large home-theater screen. Win/Win.

Plus, PC games STILL have better graphics potential than their console counterparts.But PCs have more variables when it comes to actually unlocking that potential to the fullest, so for most people without power computers, that's a moot point.

Very true.  A PC with a high-end Video Card can do things that the PS3 and the 360 can't even dream of.

Also, when you're sitting at a computer desk and you're face two feet away from a HD 27 inch monitor, nobody will say "Man, this thing is too small"   

...Of course I'd prefer to play on my 42inch HD TV, but that's mainly for comfort.  I can lay back on my bed with my controller in my hand and take it all in instead of sitting at my desk two feet from a monitor.

I've been away from console gaming for too long. The only console I want now is a Wii so I can play the latest Zelda games. Other than that.

Minus the bed portion, you're making my point.  All the other stuff, I don't care about. It's simply not that serious for me.

Two very different shooters, one with teamwork as a requirement, the other not so much. I liked both a lot, I just found it too hard to participate in a team, everyone likes to be the general or the sniper lol. I like MW3 exactly for the lone-wolf type thing...I'm not that good at it, but I support enough on my own to get achievements and extra XP all the time.

One shooter I loved though was MAG! For what it lacked in campaign, graphics and smoothness, it made up for in massiveness (64 vs. 64, 128 vs. 128!!) and pure fun.

On another note, has anyone played Journey from the Playstation store? It's like Flow and Flower, it's a pretty....umm...beautiful game lol

I won't lie; I'm having a hard time finding the direction of the gunfire, and by the time I do, I've died. 

Concerning MW3, I may renew my GameFly subscription, and give it a shot.  This way I can have more than a day to check it out.

Yeah, BF3's warning/notification system for directional fire sucks lol...it's like a light orange type indicator, I hated it. Plus, with everyone and they mama looking for cheats, physically impossible hiding places, etc, half of the time you wouldn't be able to shoot them even if you could see them!

I will admit, I'm a COD fan, I can take the games for what they are and keep away from self-important reviewers comments. It's a very smooth. playable game, and for that alone I like it. I say give MW3 another shot; heck, if you play on PS3 (can't remember if you're an XBoxer or PS3er) hit me up, Stix2002. (again, I'm not that good, so no snickering at my 15-64 games lol.....)

Me too!!!! I hate those guys! I play with them, thinking I may possibly have a chance at a positive Kill/Death ratio, but NOOOOOOOOOOOOO.....stupid quick-scoping, over-the-building knife throwing, quick-draw ambushers tossing C4 in the air and remote detonating it like it's a stinkin' grenade...WhO DoEs ThAt???!!!!

My problem with online gaming, especially shooters, is how good some of these dudes are. I remember playing Starcraft online and not winning ONE game.
