Prayer requests...

1. Yeah, so, this happened during the time that I was offline, so I didn't really get a chance to post here until it was pretty much resolved.

A couple of weeks ago I was on my way to youth choir practice with my little sister when a huge buck came out of nowhere and got biffed. Fortunately, I didn't try to swerve and dodge it or anything, but it smashed the drivers side of the hood, and the lights, and (I think) the A/C condenser. This was just after we'd finally gotten everything in the van back in working order.

(The thing went spinning off into the ditch... and no, I didn't stop to look at it...)

We just got the replacement parts yesterday, so just pray for our expenses, and that everything can be repaired with no complications.

Also, a prayer request and a praise report: One of my little cousin's (and my little sister's best friend) was hospitalized around the same time because she was eating a lot but not gaining weight, wasn't responding, etc..., and ended up being diagnosed with diabetes (Type 1 I believe). She's 11 years old.
It was a very scary time, but, thankfully, she's recovering and has been released and she's learning to take care of herself. Please pray for us and our extended family as we cope with this situation.

Yea I've always read (from my downloaded electronics repair books) "don't be superstitious but prayer can work wonders", and I agree with experience. :)

And I'm praying for the family.
