They are waiting to be prayed for? Like when we lift our hands in front of the preacher. #samedifference
Not the same difference. When we lift our hands, we lift them to Jesus.
When you get on your knees with your head lifted toward a man, you're bowing to that man (even if your heart is bowing to Jesus, your body is bowing to man).... I guess that's a matter of opinion, though, so I'll definitely say that I don't like the idea of kneeling in front of a man. In my church(es), we always knelt at a chair or something. I don't know why I see that as different, but I do. I'm not finna get on my knees in front of any man.
Also.....
The pastor is in charge. #finished
That doesn't explain why none of them even flinched. Like, even if you believe you're powerless and whatever the pastor says/does goes, if he does something off the wall that you don't believe is right or you've never seen before, you'll give some sort of reaction whether it's a facial expression, wide eyes, flinching, or a gesture or something. Those guys didn't react at all.... as though this happens all the time. That's odd, to me.
