Check out a preview on http://www.nordkeyboards.com/main.asp?tm=Home

I have used both the C1 and C2 since 2007 and for us that live outside the US, where there are not a Hammond in almost every church, it will be a portable alternative.

I have tried a preproduction prototype and when compared with a B3 and both run through a Leslie 147 there is virtually no audiable difference.
The new Nord also emulates a couple of very important idiosyncrasy's of the B3 - those "errors" that every one love about the B3.
If you are attending Namm 2012 be shure to check it out.

If your Hammond is about to break down and needs a total overhaul (which it is worth of course) then a Nord C2 with drawbars may be a good alternative

I just wish they had real drawbars and the cabinet was wood; not red plastic.

Looks like they heard my wishes. I might get this next year or the portable b3

I actually think you might find the NordC2d a very attractive alternative.
Especially if you want to have an easily transportable unit.
You will not make any compromises in sound.
I have a set up with a modified set of A100 basspedals (midified them) and bench.
I have a special box in front of the whole thing that houses power supply for the Midi Multi cable with all connectors ready.
A box that houses the Leslie interface.
I´m ready to go in 5 mins.

With the Nord C2d you also get a leslie simulator output that you can feed to the house PA.
I use the Leslie (145) as my, rather large, personal monitor simply because i love the sound.

I do not think the NewB3 has an onboard leslie simulator (correct me if I am wrong) so this adds another cost if you want to have a ventilator.

And yes - I am pro Nord and have been since i got my first C1. Now they finally realized that in the Gospelworld drawbars is a must.
You play the drawbars as much as you play the keys almost.

I am also immensely proud of the fact that a local company here in Sweden, where i live, have managed to get so close with a very small team.
This is also a fact that can be said about the VB3 vst plugin by Guido in italy.

It's a lot of money, but for 35 lbs compared to 350 lbs.

or compare that 35lbs to 35lbs on the SK-2 with useable instruments (piano, clav, electric piano etc etc)

It's a two Manual organ but it only has one set of drawbars. ?/? I dont know why hammond would do that.  That automatically disqualifies it from being of any use for me.

I had the c2 but the pedals got stolen
so I eventually traded the c2 for a roland fantom g8

but I will say that while I had it I loved it.
the pedals were a little different
but nothing that you couldnt adjust to.

the only problem I had was the digital drawbars were a little weird
now that they have made real draw bars
I am very interested.
sebastian convinced me that if I dont need to travel
my A100 should be enough

but If I ever get to the point where I need to play pipe organ or need to travel I think I would want this

it is a very good deal considering roland is almost 3k more.
and this sounds like the real thing

I live in Sweden.

The C2 now has an OS upgrade that gives the same sound as the C2d (I have one C2 as well)

The C2d in a Leslie 145 sounds really nice.

I also have a Motion Sound setup Pro3tm + LowPro - It takes a little tweaking to get the speeds right on the MotionSound gear. But it is a perfect rehearsal rig.
Easy to haul. Pity they do not make them any more.

Here in Sweden there are no Hammonds in churches. Just pipe organs - so I am hauling my gear all the time.
