I read that the WBO is conducting an investigation regarding the recent Pacquiao (sp?) fight. I doubt the results will overturn the outcome, but will it lead to changes in the sport? Personally, I think it will all fizzle out at some point...Probably around November when the rematch is probable to occur.
Terry Bradshaw was on Leno last night and he was saying that he sees football and other full contact sports losing their appeal in the next decade due to the concussions and long term impact on players. He talked a little about his story, he suffers memory loss and other stuff, and when he first started being seen by a professional about it, he told them he had six concussions, but as they scanned his brain he had way more injuries than that. He says he would not change it because he loves football, but if he had a son, he wouldn't let him play. He also doesn't think the NFL cares about it, he thinks they just care now because of all the press it's gotten lately. Hope that doesn't cost him his commentator gig...
