Cymbal cleaning
« on: February 21, 2005, 04:35:40 PM »
I was just wondering how y'all clean your cymbals? I used the Zildjian cleaner and it didn't really work as well as I hoped. Any one use something different?

HELP

I use a cleaner called "Groove Juice" it works great! What it does is get between the grooves on the cymbal and work from there. It adds a ton of shine back to the cymbal; and because dirt can 'taint' the sound of the cymbal, it sounds better once it is done. The cymbal and the sound it puts out is brighter or darker as it should be when the cleaning is done.
