Have any of ya'll heard of Steven McCoy & Greater Purpos

The CD is called "Strivin' Da Struggle"...and its suppose to be really hot ..tight band and nice vocals, ..they from B'more.

Yeah i know them im in Maryland. I see Steven Mckoy all the time when im in B-more. They actually have a concert tommorow with J-moss and Natalie wilson .There drummer is about 20 -21 his name is Mike Moore he is sick on the drums and the whole band is pretty much sick . Steven Mckoy is good friends with Tye Tribbett.On the Cd they do the "Hekodamashonda" on there and they jazz it up a bit...For those who dont know what that is its Hezi's shoutin music. Yall be blessed and check him out.

his shoutin music is so sick i gig with a lot of the band members alot. the bass player is my teacher he is a monster. they all playin for j moss and natalie tonight im mad i didnt have a ride to it

hahaha...i cant wait to hear that...is the shout just as nasty as Jonathan Nelson's shout...he's a B'more cat as well...they are mad wicked....i had it on repeat for 100x's ...definitley one of the hottest bands i've heard in a while...i love that "philly" sound......anyway i can t wait to check that out...i am definitely going to check it out...thanks ya'll !!!!!

Hey D-Nice. I got the Jonathan Nelson cd. Can you tell me the drummer's name?  I was always wondering who he was because he's real nice. The stuff he does on that shout is STUPID!!

i dont know his whole name but eeer body in Maryland calls him Royal
he plays at johnathans dads church wit this girl on the bass she is like 16 and she is dumb on the bass ..i think she would eat me alive on it.

I am from Bmore. Steve and Jonathan have good projects out. The bands sound nice. I know some of the players too. Baltimore is doing it.

Yeah..im from BMore and i was at their CD relase concert. Their drummer Mike Moore and their Keyboaridst/Organist is Buddy Lakins. They both play for my group also. And the bassist is Morgan. They have outsatnding talent!!! U gotta get the CD...its worth every dime!!!!!!

buddy dont play for them it used to be josh wilson on keys mike moore on drums morgan turner on bass and chris forbes on organ but morgan and chris gone so its josh mike and this kid will hes only 15 and is :twisted:  8O and danny on bass the steve shout is way better then jonathons its crazy cuz the drummer and the bass player made it up. mike is a stupid monster on the keys and organ he plays organ on 13. hey groove and french what church you two play at email me at lildrummaboy_987@yahoo.com
