To study Jazz music?
« on: September 25, 2012, 05:07:38 PM »
I would like to study jazz music. I wasnt interest in it untill I saw guys like George Benson, Daryl Darden, Leon Perry Greg Haynes play. For now its become a dream of mine. I guess God put it in my heart to go to school for music cause I defintely have the passion to strive for it to pursue it. I had my small practice amp and some headphones listening to george benson and guys like daryl darden and leon perry and greg haynes play.I love george benson affirmation song that I play along with him. I cant wait to go to school next year though.

I studied with Berklee's on line music collage and received my "bass specialist certificate" I had 12 weeks of R&B bass, 12 weeks of jazz bass and 12 weeks of rock bass. By far the best course was "jazz bass" I received a strong foundation on jazz bass, one that I can build upon!  check out www. jazzstandards.com   nice site for jazz musicians. :)
