Charles Jenkins & Fellowship - Awesome (Multitrack)
« on: September 29, 2012, 08:36:49 AM »
Hello All,

I just wanted to share something with you all, if interested. I was asked to create a multitrack (stem mix) for the song, Awesome by Charles Jenkins. I am willing to share this for anyone who would like to use it. It comprises all instruments except drums (Piano, Bass Guitar, Lead Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Strings, Bells, etc). I created it in Logic but the stems can be used in any DAW of your choice. I also have the complete Project in Ableton if any one uses it. If interested, just reply and I will upload it for you to be able to download.

Thanks for posting these, DeeMee!

I'm a budding musical director and multi-instrumentalist (keys, guitar, bass, vocals) at my church. So it's cool for me to hear how each of the instruments contributes a small piece to the whole and for me to get ideas for what I could play during the song depending on what instrument I'm playing.

Would you happen to have any other Gospel stem tracks too?  I'm definitely learning a ton just listening to each instrument and what it's doing in the mix. I wish my church had the tech to actually use something like this during a service, but that's years away for us, heh.

Thanks!

This was actually my first "official" multitrack.  I actually got the idea from the site, Multitrack.com. I'ver used some of the stems they have for Israel & New Breed but I found that the site tailors more to CCM than Gospel. I will definitely be creating some more in the future and when I do, I have no problem uploading them for you all to use.

Yeah, multitracks is pretty cool too. Like you said though, they don't have a lot of Gospel unfortunately. Thanks for making these!

Just so you know you can attach files to your posts if they are not too big.
