Leslie problem!
« on: February 23, 2005, 10:02:48 PM »
When I switch my leslie switch to the fast position, the top and bottom spins as usual, BUT when I have to turn the volume up on my organ they stop spinning. When I'm playing loud they both stop on there own and when I decrease the volume, they start spinning again. Any suggestions?
Thanx in advance.

Since both upper and lower motors stop spinning, you may want a qualified technician to check the ground wire (common ground) connections... I believe it serves both motors.

My 1st impulse was to say that the horn needs to be oiled, but if both are stopping, that does sound more electrical.  Call a tech.  It's probably not too expensive an issue.
Thanks for letting me hang with you guys!

Here's a possible. If it's an old organ there might be a wiring problem when the highest volume setting is triggered. BUT, if the volume pedal has the automatic leslie control switch on the actual pedal there also might be an internal problem with the configuration of the padel. Try to contact the organ dealer for professional help. Hope This Helps
