I have the DW 9000 limited, a few 5000 and I just bought the 900 double pedal. I love it.
Yo Rudamentz, why don't you check mine out for a week. When you played my pedal before, I had it set up for me and you know i use alot of tension. The DW is quieter and smoother that a lot of the other pedals. Not to affend anyone, but the iron cobra sucks. I falls apart easily. The chain attatchment to the footboard is always loosening up, causing an annoying, noisy hesitation. It just isn't durable. Axis is a good pedal, don't sleep. I always loved the Pearl pedals, but in comparison I think the DW is better. The pearl pedals, and all of the others with footboards are all based off of the DW design anyway. Having interchangable cams is a good idea, but why should you have to do all of that. You set the pedal up the way you want and then you have two extra parts that you don't need?
My boy Mark Ross of MRP drums in NY has a pedal called the light speed. The same dude that designed the DW titanium, made his. This pedal is made from the same alloy that air planes are made of. It's cool, but I don't like the beater.
Rudamentz holla at ya boi?
