can someone please give me some advice. ive been playing for 10 years and i am very unhappy with my progress. i started out directing when i was 21 and started playing when i turned 27. i got off to a slow start and the transpose button really handicapped me.  i dont transpose anymore, i dont play the keyboard much anymore either, i play the organ all the time at church. the problem is i can hear things but i dont quiet know how to express .  i hear other  musicians and sometimes i get so fustrated i think about giving up and going back to directing. can someone help me?

Keep playing and praying.  :D  God will work it out for you. Psalm 118:17 says, "I shall not die but live and declare the works of the Lord."  You can do - and you will do it.  :D

Also, I was in the same exact state and what helped me was I invested in Hammondman's tapes. Al's tapes, Jermaine Griggs books and tapes and got alot out of them. And keep hanging around - you'll get connected. lo
Or addicted.  :D
