Elixir Polweb Strings

I've used polyweb and nanoweb before and I'm not a big fan of Elixirs mainly because they cost a lot more and I still find myself changing them as often as regular strings because they still stretch the same.
So, I just buy regular strings, usually D'Addarios.

Yeah, elixirs strings are so expensive. I had several times where I were changing strings so often because the string would pop so easily. If your going to go with those strings use a .38mm guitar pick. That is the lightest you can go! But I stick with Ernie Ball a sets of 8's or a medium gauge a set of 11's for a medium guitar pick.

I use 1mm picks on everything I play except maybe if I'm strumming a lot of acoustic guitar, then I'll use a medium.
The pick shouldn't match your string gauge, it should match your style and technique.
