I no longer play for a church, but when I did, I used a Korg Karma and a Yamaha Motif XS 76 more than any. I thought the Yamaha Motif XS was the best sounding board that I had. I compared it to Rolands that I had(Fantom and Juno Gi), and other Korgs as well as Casios. It simply had the best pianos in my opinion. I also liked the operating system and the number of controls that were on the face of the board. It was very well constructed, built like a tank. For some reason, though, when I played it for extended periods and/or over several days, it caused me to have finger pain. Since I had more than one board, that was no problem. I kept the Yamaha for seven years.
I sold it and bought a Roland BK 9 which is a very nice board and which is the only board that I now own. It is an arranger, but I would put the sound and features up against the best boards available now. A person looking for a 76 key arranger type board that matched the sounds and quality of the best work stations would certainly gain by checking it out. The operating system is kind of odd, but I really like the board.
If I were still playing, and money allowed, I would want a Yamaha XF 76 or 88 as a first choice, and a Roland (FA 88 )board as a second choice.
